Terms of Use

Effective 30 July 2026. Last updated 30 July 2026.

These terms apply to your use of modernfieldservice.com. By using the site you accept them. Operator details are in the privacy policy.

What this site is

Modern Field Service publishes written reviews, comparisons and guides about field service software. It is a publication. It is not a software product, a reseller, a broker or a consultancy, and nothing here is a quote or an offer.

The limits of our reviews — read this part

This is the section that actually matters, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.

Software changes faster than articles do. Pricing, plan structures, feature availability and product names in this category change constantly, often without announcement. Every price and capability we publish is accurate to the source and the date stated on the page and nowhere else. Always verify against the vendor’s own current pricing page before you buy.

Some assessments are documentation-based. Where we have used a platform hands-on, the article says so. Where we have assessed it from vendor documentation, help-centre articles and public pricing pages, the article says that instead. These are different levels of confidence and we label which is which. Do not read a documentation-based assessment as a tested one.

Third-party figures are labelled as estimates. Where a vendor does not publish its pricing, we say the vendor does not publish it. Any third-party reconstruction we mention is identified as an estimate and is not a price you can rely on.

Rankings are editorial opinion. They reflect our reading of the evidence at the time of writing, applied to a general audience. They are not a recommendation for your specific business, and we have not assessed your operation, your trade mix, your headcount or your accounting setup.

No professional advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or compliance advice. Software procurement decisions carry commercial risk and are yours.

Do your own due diligence. Take the demo. Ask for the contract. Check the minimum term, the implementation fee and what happens to your data if you leave. We cannot do that for you and this site is not a substitute for it.

Vendor relationships

No vendor pays for coverage, placement or ranking on this site, and no vendor is shown a review before it publishes. Some outbound links carry a referrer parameter that identifies this site.

Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it and note the change. Corrections can be raised via the route in the privacy policy or in the comments on our YouTube channel.

Content and intellectual property

Articles, images and page structure on this site are ours and are protected by copyright. You may quote briefly with clear attribution and a link to the page you took it from. You may not republish articles in whole or substantial part, and you may not use this content to train a model or generate derivative articles without written permission.

Vendor names, product names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners. They are used here for identification and commentary. Their appearance on this site does not imply any endorsement, affiliation or partnership in either direction.

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at volume, or gain unauthorised access to this site or the infrastructure it runs on.

We link to vendor sites and other third-party pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or practices.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site — including any commercial decision made on the basis of a review. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
